Contexte

Alessio Pariggiano Tattoo is a tattoo shop located in the heart of Paris. The two partners decided to redesign their website to promote their work, expand their clientele, and explain their values. I designed the interface and created the website.

Design

Visual identity

Alessio Pariggiano Tattoo‘s graphic identity was designed to reflect the brand’s colors and values: green and gold make reference to Art Deco, a powerful source of inspiration for the salon’s two partners.

The tattoo shop matters to customers: to get a tattoo can mean sharing an intimate moment. The partners of the shop care about how their customers feel. The visual identity revives the decoration of the shop to maintain a visual unity for customers and users. The idea was to convey a friendly atmosphere to the user through this site.

Typography

I used Google font’s open source typographies.

Island Moments

Designed by Robert Leuschke, this brush-style typography was chosen for the site and page titles.

Cormorant Garamond

Designed by Christian Thalmann, this typeface is used for headlines.

Raleway

Raleway is an elegant family of sans serif fonts. This typeface is used for paragraphs and menus.

UX design

Enhancing the user journey

I designed the site’s interface to guide users in defining their tattoo projects and booking appointments.

Alessio Pariggiano and his partner Hélène Damville place human contact at the heart of their approach. The tattoo artists work on projects that match their aesthetic and artistic vision. They take the time to establish a relationship of trust, which implies a moment of exchange that is very important to them to meet their customers’ expectations.

To improve this journey and meet this need, we put a call-to-action button on the banner that leads to a dedicated page explaining their approach and a personalized form to help users define their tattoo project.

UI & Users

Ergonomic design

Alessio Pariggiano has deployed a digital strategy focused on the quality and original expertise of its resident and guest artists. The website showcases the work of the tattoo artists, with numerous photographs, large-format images, banners, and albums.

UI

Responsive approach

The target audience is mixed, young, urban, and highly connected. The website is suitable for all devices, and users can book appointments on their smartphones.
